We saw an excellent line-up at Twangfest on Friday, which was sponsored by local fave radio station
KDHX.
I Love Math from Dallas opened.
Miles of Wire from St. Louis were up next followed by
Hayes Carll. All the openers were great, but the last two just felt oh so right! The
Old 97's were headlining so they played last. They alone were worth the price of admission. And, I bet they played for at least 2 hours. Sounded awesome!

Darn! We missed Twangfest again this year.
Mot that we didn't know about it--I bet if you added up all the promos on KDHX, there would have been hours worth. Mid-June is always a busy time for us.
maybe next year...
I missed Twangfest for Wakarusa but did get to see Old '97s. They were indeed awesome. One of my underrated favorites. Timebomb live was the shizz.
